1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Cricket Calc ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Cricket Calc is a mobile application that provides cricket match scoring functionality, including:

• Ball-by-ball scoring
• Match statistics tracking
• Score sharing capabilities
• Collaborative scoring features
• Optional account creation to sync data across devices

3. Accounts

Creating an account is entirely optional. If you choose to create one:

• You must be at least 13 years of age
• You are responsible for keeping your recovery code safe. We cannot recover your account if you lose access to all registered devices and lose your recovery code
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• You may register multiple devices to one account using the device transfer feature
• One account per person — creating multiple accounts to circumvent any restrictions is not permitted

4. User Responsibilities

As a user of Cricket Calc, you agree to:

• Use the App only for its intended purpose of cricket scoring
• Provide accurate information when creating matches
• Not misuse the sharing or delegation features
• Not attempt to interfere with, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the service
• Not attempt to access other users' accounts or data

5. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Cricket Calc are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

6. User Content

You retain full ownership of the match data, player names, and statistics you create. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display this data solely as necessary to provide the service to you. We do not claim ownership of your data and do not use it for any purpose beyond operating the App.

7. Account Deletion and Data

You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting admin@cricketcalc.com. Upon deletion:

• Your account credentials (passkey, session tokens, recovery codes) are deleted immediately
• Your match data, player names, and settings are permanently deleted within 30 days
• Shared scoreboard links for your matches will stop working
• Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Cricket Calc is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted. We are not liable for any loss of match data due to technical failures, though we take reasonable measures to prevent data loss.

9. Limitation of Liability

We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of match history or inability to access your account.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date on this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. You may stop using the App at any time.
